IMPROVED LOGO & FINAL LOGO
Angel and I discussed our ideas and looked at the sketches we both made, it was apparent that we were interested in shapes so we decided to stick to that. The idea was to create three identities for the gallery, hence why we showed this in the logo through three variations yet keeping the consistency so they are similar. We made the logo in the shape of a 'G' out of triangles. The key was to keep it simple yet interesting at the same time. We both agreed that it should look like that, we were also inspired by origami bird, its delicate folds.
Experimenting with triangles to create our G for the logo which represents Gallery 1, 2 and 3
Once we were satisfied with the sketches, we proceeded to create the logos digitally.
Playing around with the triangles to created the letter ‘G’ and seeing which looks best:

The above design looks more like the letter ‘C’, so we’ve decided to try add another triangle to make it resemble
more of a ‘G’ letter.

We added text at the bottom of the logo, 'Gallery 1,2, 3. We chose a serif font after experimenting to see which looks best. We narrowed it down between two font, 'Georgia' and 'Calisto MT', in the end we chose Calisto MT as it seemed more fitting.
This is how the logos look side by side, slightly different but similar, Gallery 1, 2, 3. We were satisfied with the design, it looks like origami style folds, artistic yet simple and to the point (that it looks like the letter 'G'.)
FINAL LOGOS
Here is how the FINAL logos looks together with text:
Separately, the gallery logos look like this:

The logo together as a whole would be called ‘Gallery 123′ as shown below:
The logo can also be arranged vertically like this:
LOGO COLOUR VARIATIONS
This was the fun part, adding colour to the logos to add a bit of personality and dimension to the flatness.
SILVER VERSION:

GOLD VERSION
We both agreed that the gold version of the logo looked nice as it had an elegant feel to it.
Stacking the logo
Tried stacking the logos to form a different shape…however we came to a conclusion that
this made the logo like an entirely different logo…so we didn’t use this version, but I think it looks nice.

I think that the coloured logo here looks very unique and interesting
Placing logos on a background
The coloured logo placed on the black background is bold and striking and stands out.
